幻想郷祭囃子（秋） – Gensoukyou Matsuribayashi (Aki) – Gensoukyou Festival Song (Autumn)

^ This is Nitori’s Stage Theme, but the song’s all in all more of a “Mountain of Faith” theme, so I’ll save her picture for later.

幻想郷祭囃子（秋） – Gensoukyou Matsuribayashi (Aki) is from Lyrical Crimson, by EastNewSound, released C75

This is it!! I have now translated all of the songs of Lyrical Crimson! YAY! It’s an album I’d recommend to anyone who likes Vocal Touhou Music, and I’d recommend EastNewSound as a whole – They’ve been a constant source of awesome.

Thought a festival song would be a nice note to end on ^_^ Autumn is my favorite season, yours?

Here’s who I think is who:
“hero fishing through cabinets” must be Morichika Rinnousuke
“hikikomori demon queen” could be either Remilia Scarlet, or possibly Shinki, or maybe Patchouli – but I’ve never seen her described as demon queen before.
“A-kun” let’s not forget our nondescript human villagers!
“Corpses” o_O – The people that died in Dolls in Pseudo Paradise!! (ok, now that’s a stretch – I know)
“Spinning spinning dance together” Kagiyama Hina of course
“Humans” Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, Sanae, Mokou + The lunarians etc..
“Ghosts” Youmu, Yuyuko, Mima, the Prismrivers etc.
“Little Princesses” Remilia Scarlet, Flandre Scarlet, maybe Kaguya too.

Ten Made To Do Key!!

Mokou!! – I really think she is one of the easiest characters to make look cool or awesome.

I actually don’t know why Fujiwara no Mokou is a “mathematician”, though I think it might have something to do with her spellcards, or some weird inside joke like CAVED. I figure the “math” thing is why the song title is in “English” instead of in Japanese (read the notes for more).

I was going to insert *obligatory Mokou x Keine service picture* but then it looked like there were too many pictures in the post, and the song is more of a Kaguya shipper anyway, so it’ll have to wait.

Anyway “Ten Made To Do Key!!” is from Lyrical Crimson by EastNewSound released C75 – the song is sung and written by Izumin, and he’s likely my favorite male Touhou vocalist ^_^.

Notes:
Ten made to do key! when pronounced in the Japanese way, sounds like 天まで届け, or “Reach to the Heavens!”

“Mid-autumns moon” is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox, a lot of festivals are held around this time or on this night – including the moon festival for Chang’e in China etc.

Lycoris (maybe the plural is lycori but I’m just going to leave it) are the Japanese manjushage, or crimson spider lily in another term. They often grow around grave sites and are associated with the after life, they are beautiful and poisonous.

I decided to keep the specific colors of red intact – even though for one, English wouldn’t normally describe flame as “vermillion”.
