That is what I wanted to know – and so I searched throughout the world.
Even as everyone else was vanishing from it.
だけど、いつまでたってもピエロを見つけることは出来なかった。
But no matter how time passed me by, I could not find the pierrot.
つまり、それは、そういうことなのだろう。
見つかるわけがなかったんだ、はじめから。
In other words, it was just one of those things.
They was no way they could be found. It was that way, from the very start.
残りの正直者は だけになった。
