“I just finished reading the book the movie リズと青い鳥/Liz und ein blauer Vogel/Liz and the Bluebird is based on” What book? D: Don’t tell me there is an actual Liz und ein Blauer Vogel fairy tale book O:
Liz and the Bluebird is based on the parts that focus on Mizore and Nozomi in Sound! Euphonium’s 2nd year novel. The fairy tale and musical arrangement were imagined by the author and the concert piece made for the movie was based on the author’s description in the book.
So the fairy tale was in the novel? Or was it just mentioned? Cuz i loved Liz and the Blue Bird o: ,the fairy tale itself, (it’s visually stunning in the film) and if it’s in the manga as well or if there’s some more manga only Liz and the Blue Bird material (again, the fairy tale), i’d love to know!
I don’t think the fairy tale itself has been given any media adaptation outside the movie, the book only references it; it isn’t its own book. I would not be surprised if something like that comes out eventually (official or not), but to my knowledge, there isn’t anything like that out there now.
