  1. I dont like this song ’cause 3L’s voice is hidden behind the music and she didn’t show any technique in singing.

    “rebellion” was fascinating. I must be just disappointed by her song this time.

    • Speaking of RD arranged 3L songs (there are only three) – I need to translate 一夜之夢 don’t I?

      RD’s known for stretching his vocalists to their limits and/or making the most of their skills, so my first thought would be to say it’s unfair to compare … but Pizuya’s got quite a bit of 3L experience at this point, and while 3L’s voice is a little overlayed by the keyboard (but I love godwood!), I think this is very much a 3L-ish song. While there are other Pizuya+3L songs I like more (like [this]), they have a similar nature to them. Rebellion is more of an outlier in that respect.

      There’s also the fact that this is much more of a beat driven album. Even Nap and Tuile Dentelle are never released from the beat, though they have much more of an emphasis on vocals.

      If you haven’t listened to everything RD has ever done, I’d recommend doing that, but if you like RD+3L the three tracks are rebellion, ホンノタビビト, and 一夜之夢.

      If you haven’t given up on Pizuya+3L, Excelsior is a Pizuya+3L only album, and it has several good tracks on it (including the titular one).

      It’s a totally different kind of music, but personally, I think 3L shines best when she’s paired with Shibayan, if you want to give these a look as well: (月齢11.3のキャンドルマジック [*], アモリタチテカミトミユ [*], ・-・・ --- ・・・- ・ [*], Stardust Reverie [*], etc.)

      Plus, we mustn’t forget the ever famous Yb Allul and Listen Up! – But I’ll leave it at that.

      • Some songs you came up with I heard. The last 5 were something specific and that’s why they’re called “3L専用曲”(3L-only songs).

        I’d listened Yb Allul since 4 years ago as soon as it released and even now I cant forget her petite voice with the ethnic romaji-reversed lyrics.

        It’s funny that when I’m hearing “マクロフィラパラソル” I hallucinate with 田村ゆかり’s voice.

        Every time touhou’s shooting released by ZUN I’ll play and have a feast of the musics. I so called “原作厨” couldn’t help but bewitched by RD-sounds’ origin-respect stories in its songs. Anyway RD’s songs are empowered by regulated arrange and most importantly MERAMI’s unique voice. There’s no reason for RD-sounds unpopulated.

        Welcome to have 一夜之夢 translated. I know it’s a story of a lady favored by emperor as if the empire downfall lady 妲己. I was once surprised that the song seems to be 霍青娥’s theme song, but she’s never joined imperior’s consort but barely a Taoshi born as a plebeian(refer to 聊齋志異 where 霍青娥 originated from).

    I have just a question do you have the attention to translate Clair de lune from this artist. The CD is really better.

    And, just like Imass must say I don’t like this album Visitandine, because artists don’t show any technique in singing (voice are dull/flat). However when I listen from the Japanese I must say the lyrics are good, but they can be betters songs, I know this. That’s just my opinion, I think someone else can really like this CD.

    And yes, I’m french and the correct title is “Champs d’étoiles”. But it’s not the first time I see Japaneses make somes difficults with ” d’, l’ ” in french.

    • I definitely need to do the titular track from Clair de Lune. – I don’t want to miss on yuri-yuri-naps (Nap) and fetal dreams though! (Cristallin). (This Haruura lyricist might be promising…)

      I wouldn’t say it’s flat… but it is muted. Like the mute on a trumpet or something, a stylistic choice?

      I really need to be doing some RD songs too though ^^;

    You really like Yuri with Renko/Mary, right ? If I remember it’s you that complain you don’t read enough of this couple. I have a site (don’t know if you know it) it’s E-Hentai Galleries. So, yes the name means that doujin with xxx, but let me explain.

    So, to explain you can go in this site and write in the research “renko maribel touhou”. At the same time selection only doujin and non-hentai.
    I swear there are really good doujin that not porno at all, I read somes to say. The only problem is that the ads in the site with pictures porno like the site Danbooru, if you know it.
    I don’t post the link because I don’t want to make some problems in your blog (I can give you a link in your adress mail if you don’t find).

    For the doujins there are somes from Pixiv, but entirely (in Pixiv sometimes there are only two, three pages…). I think because that post in a site xxx for some reason that don’t censure… Anyways, doujins are in japenese, chinese and sometimes english.
