^You hear it too right? Level 5? Judgelight? FripSide? Am I crazy? If you do think I’m crazy, I’ve put an appropriate image at the bottom.

The word-processor I type up lyrics in from the album booklets can’t handle the character: 疒 – because it’s outside Shift-JIS, and while common as a radical is not used even in Chinese (so far as my dictionary goes), which doesn’t really help me for the romanized tags and such. I’ll call him either Chan or Hei. -.-;

Chinese why be you so difficult? щ(゚Д゚щ) // Yeah I keep telling myself I’ll learn one day, but I’ll go ahead and take on Russian and German first…

Anyway, if you didn’t know (so to help you understand the song), they are the Prismriver sisters four, not the Prismriver sisters three. They were all separated after their parents’ death, and Layla, the youngest unwilling to leave, conjured three images of her sisters, poltergeists, and with the mansion and her creations, immediately vanished. In time all four sisters died, and only the three poltergeists remained.

If you take it into reality, when all four sisters were alive, the youngest, distressed, fell into a coma not wanting to be separated from her sisters. Here the three left play to wherever Layla’s soul might be. That sound could even be what creates the loud poltergeists Layla finds.

さぁ始めよう 一人離れたあなたに 届くように
蒼く澄んだ空の下 地平線の彼方まで 届くように
溢れる想いを 言葉を 涙を 音の波に乗せて
届けこの音色 何もかも全て越えて あなたのところまで

Now let’s start, so we can reach you alone separated from all of us
So we can reach everything under the clear blue skies all the way to the horizon line
We’ll send our overflowing emotions, our words, our tears all on sound waves
So may our melody reach across all anything and everything, all the way to you

あの日見た虹の橋をかけることまだ出来ないけれど
色褪せる事ない 音色を響かせる
もう一度だけ 虹がかかるまで

Though we cannot yet cross that rainbow bridge we saw that day
We’ll let sound tones that will never fade
Until that rainbow comes once again

忘れることない あの日の夜
大粒の雨が 叩きつけて
冷たい小さな手 握りしめて
懐かしい言葉を 囁いた

We can never forget that night, that day
A great rain was falling, beating on us
You held our hands cold, and
Whispered nostalgic words

微かに響いたその声最後に
目覚める事ない眠りにつく――

When that last soft voice rang
You fell into a sleep from which you would never wake

窓の外の雨はいつまで降り続くのだろう
小さな掌に雫が落ちて奏でる その音色を聞き
忘れられない思い出胸をかすめ 頬を伝う涙
絶える間もなく あふれ出る想いよ
雨雲を越えて あなたまで届け

How long will the rain keep falling outside this window?
A small drop falls into my palm and makes a sound – hearing that tone
An unforgettable memory grazes my heart, and tears run down my cheek
My feelings, overflowing uninterrupted
May they cross the rain and clouds and reach all the way to you

照らし出されてく あの想い出
語り合うように 音を奏で

Lit by that memory
We play as if speaking to one another

七色の光降り注ぐところ
あなたがそこにいるなら届け――

If you’re there, where seven colors of light
Rain down, may these feelings reach you..

雲間から見えた虹の橋追いかけるように
足元の水たまりの上歩いて 水面に波紋を残し
雲の残った 雨上がりの空を
蒼く染めよう 三つの音色で

Racing after the rainbow we saw between the clouds
Dashing over water puddles at our feet, leaving ripples on the surface
Let’s pain the sky the clouds left behind
Blue with our three tones

溢れ落ちる想いを そっと拾い集めて――

Gathering our emotions spilling over..

音に想いを重ねて 響く旋律は高く 遥か広がり
高鳴る胸を抑えつけることなく 心尽きるまで

Into sound we place our thoughts, melodies ringing high, far and wide
Not holding back the loud volume in our chests, until our hearts are exhausted

私たちの音色(こえ) 聞いて――!

Listen to our voices!!

さぁ始めよう 一人離れたあなたに 届くように
蒼く澄んだ空の下 地平線の彼方まで 届くように
あの日見た虹の橋をかけることまだ出来ないけれど
色褪せる事ない 音色を響かせる
もう一度だけ 虹がかかるまで

..I’m definitely hearing Judgelight here. Although I didn’t really like Railgun (maybe because I don’t like Misaka that much and I’m much more of an Index fan), I really love the opening fripSide did…especially LEVEL5 ~Judgelight~. Such a nice surprise, Halozy ~

Thanks for the translation, this Halozy album is really superior than the rest because since Crescendo Planet the circle sound too Kawai/Dempa for me =/
    Also I’ve a request, it’s possible to translate “Unconnected.’ by t+pazolite ?
I’m not a big fan of RIZNA but this song is terrible, hurr +3+

    • Added to the list – might not be out till the weekend, depending on how well I can do my project though (`3´) We’ll see~

  1. Hey! I was wondering if you could translate Hinarin’s Relation of Misfortune? Its not translated fully :C

Could you translate Star Colored Night Sky by YELLOW ZEBRA? There’s already one out, but it’s extremely engrishy – and not in a way that benefits it.

  2. uf, really late post here^^
and it’s really railgun’s fripside xD jup jup^^
but i write here because i know who’s 疒: it’s ‘yamidare’ (i was surprised about the character, too :D)

and thx for the translation ;)

  3. *ah sorry, it’s ‘yamaidare’ if you look at this: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E7%96%92
but if you look at this, it says ‘yamidare’…: http://vgmdb.net/album/20404
i would say it’s the first… (sorry to bother you)

    • Yeah, that makes a lot of sense, that’s the name of the radical “yamaidare” – I hadn’t thought of looking it up that way XD
