Kyoushuu // Homesickness

^I absolutely adore the font on this album – art done by Ranko’s older sister.

Requested by: Izanami

I really should just go and translate all the rest of Buta-Otome shouldn’t I? I love all of their songs ^_^

Also, I’ve said this a million times already, but I love Ranko’s older sister’s lyrics!!!!!! Also, you’ll rarely get the chance to see her without a huge pink bunny suit, but she’s beautiful. *nods*

Also, to go ahead and compliment the rest of them, Ranko’s voice is probably the best I’ve ever heard, especially for this type of music, Paprika’s in my top three favorite pianists, and I don’t need to tell you I think Comp’s bass and arrangements are awesome.

Lyrics:

I always stared alone at the number of lamps lining the streets
As I reached out with the tip of my finger to this shining dream
I didn’t want to forget, so I wove its history

Before this disappearing memory burns out, let me look upon this nostalgic world
It won’t be long before this day sets, for the next story to begin
This road continues on and on into the distance..

That day we talked together about our tiny futures
The shadows went too far and slipped through our fingers,
Turning into bubbles, floating off before finally disappearing

Before these fading thoughts disappear, let me believe in a new future
I’ll stay beside you until all your tears dry up
Those echoing words, “Now, farewell”

Before this disappearing memory burns out, let me look upon this nostalgic world
Some day we’ll meet again, so our next story can begin

This road continues on and on into the distance..

  1. Go ahead with translating all Buta-Otome song, I’m already casting big bad voodoo spell so I can acquire the song :)

  2. I have a request. Can you translate Regasound’s Love-Letter Newspaper?

    Thank you.
