Florentia

Some more from Foreground Eclipse :D
I may have some more songs by Tuesday next week.

Notes:
[Stanza 2 that starts with 赤く滲む空に]
^Yeah I’m a little confused as to what’s the subject of what in this stanza too…

The relationships between phrases in this particular set of lyrics is very very vague, too vague for the requirements set by English; it’s more or less a collection of images in some places. I set in some relationships where I thought they made sense, but I tried to keep it to a minimum, which is why some parts may seem a little disconnected. The subject in the second stanza is actually “the coldness/chill” which more or less spring still sleeping.

“The swaying words of flowers.” <- this makes a little more sense than you might think, as the word in Japanese for "word" is "leaf of language/speech".

A faint white light shines, and
You smile at me – in wonder at
The sensation of snow.
It's still far off, in a quiet daydream..

The chill of the water
Flowing through a sky slowly turning red,
Gathers a calming warmth in the light,
Still asleep, embraced by trees in full color.

I'm praying that one day spring comes to your mind.

A world of brilliant sounds, a dancing goddess of the earth:
Her colorful voice will ring high into the sky, and
The whisperings of sweet flowers will come carried on a spring wind.
I'm praying that one day spring comes to your mind.

Fragrances of flowers sway:
When at times the wind blows strong,
My heart moves moves to cross yours,
Like the peaceful sunrays of those days in full color.

I hope that one day spring comes to my mind.

A world of brilliant colors throughout the turning seasons:
Let our music reach out to others, like
The whisperings of sweet flowers that will come carried on a spring wind.
I'm praying that one day spring comes to my mind.

Every time I wake up
I feel all creatures breathe warmer
Let's start singing together
so that spring comes to our mind

Everytime I wake up
I feel all creatures breathing warmer
Let's all start singing together
So that spring comes to our minds

We'll bathe in the peaceful light soon to come, and
The waking wind will guide us.

They will ring far across the sky:
The swaying words of flowers.

Wow, we really need more Phantom Ensemble remixes like this! o:

Oh, um, by the way, is it okay if you can translate this for me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpOSzZpv9FA? Or if you have a Nicovideo account http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9578469 since it has the kanji. I don’t mind if you don’t want to do it, and if you do take as long as you want. Sorry if I commented on the wrong entry.

    • Hahaha, it’s really simple so I’m not sure if it qualifies as a translation or not, but the first line is: 置き傘☆うらめしや is “Left Behind Umbrella ☆ Boo”, the title is: Kogasa’s Song (lol), and apart from the lalalalala, umhmhmhm~s, kogasa just repeats over and over again what she’s using to make soba: Mitsukan, Otsuyu, and Oi-Katsuo. Basically a brand name sauce, a pot, and dried bonito. ^_^ The last line is basically: “= soba!”

The last “slide” basically says “she loves at it but she’s not good at it”.

^_^ You sort of made my day by having me watch that. Thanks.
