In a Night When Her Sorrow Resounds Around

I know on the last post I said that Dancing with Happiness and Sadness was by far the best, but well – I really like this song too. I guess I just haven’t listened to the album in a while :x

Notes:
There are some differences meaning in the indicated Japanese translation and the actual lyrics sung. Where these occur, I will do my translation as best as a mix I can, while favoring the translation from the Japanese translation, because, well – the English is already up there :)

My translations will be in colored italics to avoid confusion.

“And wipes my overflowing tears.” Ok, it’s most likely “and I wiped my overflowing tears”, but it’s left ambiguous and I think “the gentle rain to wash away my overflowing tears” etc. is a better image for the song.

In the middle with the three English stanzas if you’re a little confused it goes 1(screaming)&2(singing) then 2(singing)&3(screaming), I’m just going with how it was written in the lyric book ^_^

In A Night When Her Sorrow Resounds Around
Lyrics by Foreground Eclipse

“Please don’t call my name anymore,
I’m scared”

“Please don’t call my name anymore;
I’m scared”

So I cry

kowareta tokei no hari
anata ni mou todokanai
kono mune wa harisaketeshimaisou

The broken hand of this clock,
Won’t reach you anymore.
My chest feels like it’s about to burst open,
So I cry.

Senses fail

aa yoru no tobari e tsutau
kurayami ni tozasareta
kono omoi wo hibikasete
imasugu ni aitakute
kurushikute

Ah, following along this curtain of night
Enclosed in utter darkness.
Let these feelings resound!
I want to see you right now,
And it hurts..
Senses fail.

(In this night)
(My voices are still resounding around)
(In this night
please don’t let them fade away)

nageki no iro hibiku yoru ni
kono uta ga kareru made
negau no nara todoku no nara utau yo
nee kikoeru desho

Tones of grief resound throughout the night. (In this night)
Until this song withers,
(My voices are still resounding around.)
If you wish, If you reach out, I will sing.
(Please accept them,
Please don’t let them fade away)
You can hear it, can’t you?

Can you hear me I’m singing for you
Still my voices are around
Can you hear me I’m singing for you
Please don’t let them fade away

Can you hear me? I’m singing for you.
Still my voices resound.
Can you hear me? I’m singing for you.
Please accept them, don’t let them fade away.

(This song is my everything
So please share with me or I’ll fade away)

(This song is my everything.
So please stay with me, or I’ll fade away)

Can you hear me I’m singing for you
Still my voices are around
Please, or I’ll fade away

Can you hear me? I’m singing for you.
Still my voices resound.
Save me, or I’ll soon fade away..

yasashii ame ga watashi ni katarikaketeru
koboreru namida sotto nuguu no

The gentle rain speaks to me,
And wipes my overflowing tears.

(In this night)
(My voices are still resounding around)
(In this night please don’t let them fade away)
(Fade away)
(For you)

motomeru ai sasagu yoru ni
kono kizu ga ieru made
chikau no nara kanau no nara utau yo
nee soba ni ite yo
zutto

To the night I raise up the love I seek. (In this night)
Until my wounds heal,
(My voices are still resounding around)
If you vow, if you grant my wish, I’ll sing.
(Please accept them,
Please don’t let them fade away)
Please, let me stay beside you.. (Fade away)
Forever. (For you)

This is the best vocal I’ve heard, IMO.

    It’s… god-tier.
Just like Pray, and a few others.
