hitokata. Lyrics / Translation

This is one of my favorite tracks off of an album that someone had requested I do a particular song from… “show me your love” by Syrufit released C77.

Komachi’s theme is less well known, being from Phantasmagoria of Flower View, but this is probably one of the best mixes I’ve heard of it. I love slow songs that manage their power well.

I’ve had a nice relaxing day today, but it’ll be back to work soon… oh well.

kesenai yume wo mita
kawareru mizu no soko de
inotta shizumu tsuki e
“watashi ni nani ga dekiru?”

I saw a dream I could not erase
Kept at the bottom of the water
I prayed towards the sinking moon,
“What can I do?”

uzumaku nami no ato
minamo e en wo egaku
kogareta sora no ao ni
kono mama tokasaretai

Swirling traces of waves
Draw circles on the water’s surface.
Like them, I want to dissolve
Into the blue sky I so longed for

dare ni mo sukuenu
hakyou no negeki wo saa

I am unable to save for anyone
The sighs of shattered mirrors. Sa~

aa nagare kika matoi
mada ienu koe hitokata

Ah~ flow, mysterious calamity, follow
Yet unhealed voices, shapes of people

sou yume wa minai
kawarenu watashi nara
dare ka no utsusemi yori
sukoshi wa yurusareru no?

I do not dream any more
Will I, irreplaceable, find
Even a little forgiveness
From someone’s cast off shell?

aa shizumu kika koroshi
mada shiranu ai hitokata

Ah~ sinking, mysterious calamity, kill
Yet unknown loves, shapes of people
